Levi Goff

Artist, Educator & Researcher.

Growing up, I watched my family craft things like it was second nature, and I picked up an awareness of use of tools, materials and processes along the way. I was encouraged to be resourceful and inventive. I am now, somewhat obsessed with mixing and experimenting with materials to create art. I mostly stick to natural materials—it just feels right... probably stemming from my love for the outdoors and the simple joy of creating with my hands.

I am an artist, educator and researcher, seamlessly blending these roles into my life. As a lecturer in the Arts and a passionate practitioner, I dedicate most my time into creating and equally into teaching. Sharing my skills with others is not just a profession; it’s a joy. Through teaching, I not only pass on knowledge but also enrich my own practice, constantly inspired by fresh ideas and new perspectives. I continuously observe the space and objects in my surroundings, fostering a disciplined approach to inquiry that forms the foundation of my research methodology. This structured process informs and enhances my practice, enabling a sense of directness or precision and continuity in my work.
